The Vanilla Orchid is an allergen-friendly home bakery, owned by Gabbie Thomas. This small business creates modern cakes for all celebrations including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, showers and more. The cakes are made primarily with buttercream, either a smooth Italian or a rich French meringue buttercream to bring the vision to life. Buttercream is so versatile and it provides the best texture and flavour to complement signature Vanilla Orchid cakes.
One of Gabbieโs main goals is to ensure there is something for everyone; from no restrictions to gluten-free to vegan, The Vanilla Orchid is committed to inclusivity. The team is prepared to tailor every cake and dessert to the clientโs specific needs.
Stunning dessert buffets can also be created for receptions and other occasions. The wide range of mini desserts available ensures the ability to cater to many preferences. Should the customer choose to have a dessert buffet, the team will set up and keep an eye as the event progresses. (We are also happy to break down your wedding cake so that youโre able to enjoy your special day without worrying about any cake-related logistics).
